The two are exchanging the other race's greeting, a sign of respect for their people. "En Taro Adun" is the common greeting of the Khalai protoss, Tassadar's people, while "Adun Toridas" is the greeting of the Nerazim, Zeratul's people. In StarCraft, Raynor was most often represented as a hero vulture unit, which did not show up again in StarCraft II. The Great War is the events of the first StarCraft, and in a nod to canon Zeratul and Raynor did not fight alongside one another in the next conflict of the expansion, the Brood War. Zeratul: Friend Raynor, we have not fought together since the Great War.

In Khalani, "protoss" means firstborn, as they considered themselves the first made by the xel'naga progenitor race. Shakuras was the central world of the Nerazim, Zeratul's people, before it was destroyed. A common greeting and battlecry used by the protoss. Adun is ancient protoss executor and hero.
